The Sprouting Seeds Studio Shop
Opens Friday, October 22nd!
The excitement is building, as the Grand Opening of the shop nears, and the Creative Team is working ’round the clock on the Ideas and Inspiration pages for you! Just a reminder, that if you’d like to be certain you receive all the announcements of the new Resale Collections, Freebies, Contests, Sales, etc., please join Sprouting Seeds Studio on Facebook, Twitter or Google Friend Connect, as the Resale Collections, Sales, Contests, etc. will not (or should not) show up on any of the Freebie Search Engines. I appreciate everyone who contacted me yesterday, to let me know the preview photo for the Facebook 150 Collection did not show up on some of the Freebie websites. Unfortunately, I don’t have any control over when or if the preview photo shows up, so that is another great reason to follow Sprouting Seeds Studio on Facebook, Twitter or Google Friend Connect, so you will always know when new collections, freebies, etc., are released. If you didn’t see the Facebook 150 Collection – it is still available and you can find it to the right, under Blog Archive.
Above is a preview of the 2nd Resale Collection that will be in the shop tomorrow, called Celebration Blast. Designed on purpose to be a general celebration collection, it can be used for birthdays, general parties, and well, just about any celebration you can think of! Take a closer peek by clicking on the preview.
I’ll be back later today, to post a preview of the last Collection that will also be available in the shop tomorrow!!

Received this email from Kelsey: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your layouts. They are always so beautiful and inspiring. Can you answer a couple of questions for me? 1. On the celebration blast layout, how did you get that look for the back 2 layers as it is beautiful!
Hi Kelsey, thank you for your very nice email and comments. On the layout above, this is all about using your opacity settings. The back layer is the Orange Solid paper from the collection with the blend mode set at Normal and the opacity at 65%. The next layer was first filled with white, then the Yellow Solid paper from the collection was clipped to it with the blend mode set at Normal and the opacity at 75%. I then put the photo on top of the yellow paper layer, clipped them together with the blend mode set at Normal and the opacity reduced to 25% and that is how you can achieve this look.
